The IP is the proxy’s, not yours
Connect through your proxy and reload. The address above should be the exit IP of the proxy. If it is still your own, the tool or browser is not using the proxy.
Time zone and language fit the IP
Sites compare your time zone and language with the country of your IP. A German IP with a New York clock stands out. Anti-detect browsers can set both per profile.
Nothing leaks around the proxy

IP address questions
What is an IP address?
The number your internet connection is known by. Every site you visit sees it, because it needs somewhere to send the page. Your provider assigns it, and it usually identifies your provider and your rough location, not you personally.
Why does this page show a different IP from the one I expected?
If you are using a proxy or VPN, sites see its address instead of yours, which is the point. If you are not, your provider may have given you a new address, or you are behind a shared address that many customers use at once.
What is the difference between IPv4 and IPv6?
IPv4 addresses look like 203.0.113.7 and are running out. IPv6 addresses are longer and are replacing them gradually. Many connections have both. “Not detected” next to IPv6 simply means your connection does not use it.
Can a website find my location from my IP?
Roughly. Geolocation databases map an IP to a country and often a city, sometimes wrongly. They do not give a street address. That is why a proxy in another country changes the prices, language and content you are shown.

No. The address is fetched by your browser from ipify, a free public IP echo service, and shown to you. The browser details are read locally. We do not record either. Our web server keeps ordinary access logs, as described in the Privacy Policy.
