Why Telegram accounts need their own IPs
Telegram accounts are tied to phone numbers, and every session shows where it connects from.
Sessions show their IP
Each active session lists its IP and location under Devices. Many accounts behind one IP are easy to connect to one operator.
Location should match the number
An account on a UK number that connects from a different country every day looks unusual. Use an IP in the number’s country.
Scripts run on servers
Telethon and Pyrogram usually run on a VPS, with a server IP. A static IP per session keeps each account on one consistent address.

Add a proxy inside Telegram
Telegram has proxy support built in, so you do not need another app. Use the SOCKS5 details of one static IP per account. Telethon and Pyrogram take the same details in code. The Telegram setup guide goes step by step.

Which proxy is best for Telegram?

Does Telegram support proxies with a password?
Yes. Telegram’s built-in SOCKS5 option takes a server, port, username and password, which is exactly what our proxies give you.
Can I get MTProto proxies from VantixProxy?
No. We provide HTTP and SOCKS5, and Telegram’s SOCKS5 option works with them directly.
How do I use these proxies with Telethon or Pyrogram?
Pass the SOCKS5 details as the client’s proxy. Telethon takes proxy_type, addr, port, username and password. Pyrogram takes scheme, hostname, port, username and password. Keep one IP per session file.
Which country should the IP be in?
The country of the account’s phone number, where possible. Static Residential covers the US, UK, Germany, France, Canada, Australia, Italy, Poland and China, and Eternal Residential covers 195 countries.
Is running Telegram accounts through proxies allowed?
