Lowest rate for each. Every tier is on the pricing page.
Why Google Maps results depend on where you stand
Maps is the most local product Google has. Location shapes everything it shows.
Rankings shift street by street
The businesses in the map results change with the searcher’s location. A rank check from the wrong city measures a different market.
Server IPs get the unusual traffic page
Google answers heavy automated traffic from datacenter IPs with a CAPTCHA page. Residential IPs look like people searching.
The official API charges per lookup
The Places API bills every request. For large lead lists or daily rank grids, collecting the public listings often costs less.
Which proxy for which Google Maps job
The finer the location, the more the targeting matters.
| Google Maps job | Proxy type | Why | From |
|---|---|---|---|
| Local rank tracking by city | Budget Residential | A new residential IP per check, with country, region and city targeting. | $0.49/GB |
| Rank grids by ZIP code or around a point | Eternal Residential Lite | ZIP code and radius-around-a-coordinate targeting, the deepest we sell. | $0.59/GB |
| Collecting public business listings for lead lists | Eternal Residential | Buy once per project. The balance never expires. | $0.75/GB |
| Checking your Business Profile in each city | Premium Residential | High-trust residential IPs with city targeting. | $5.16/GB |
Check the map from your customer’s street
Target the city with the proxy, then give the browser the same location: Google also reads the browser’s geolocation and the map area on screen. Keep one IP for a whole check and use a new one for the next location.
- IP in the city City or ZIP targeting
- Same geolocation Browser location set to match
- One IP per check Sticky within, new between
- Logged out No personal history in the results

Google Maps proxy questions
Which proxy is best for Google Maps?
Budget Residential for rank checks by city. Eternal Residential Lite for rank grids by ZIP code or around a point. Eternal Residential for listing projects that come and go.
Why does Google show an “unusual traffic” page?
It appears for datacenter IPs and for many fast searches from one IP. Residential IPs and a steady pace keep it rare.
Can I check rankings for a ZIP code or a point on the map?
Yes. Eternal Residential Lite targets ZIP codes and a radius around a coordinate. Set the browser’s geolocation to the same point for the closest match.
Is the Places API a better choice?
It is the simplest route for small volumes and live apps. For daily rank grids or large lead lists the per-request cost adds up, and many teams collect the public listings instead.
What data is on a public Google Maps listing?
The name, category, address, phone number, website, opening hours, rating and review count. That is what most local lead lists are built from.
Is collecting Google Maps data through proxies allowed?
Checking rankings and collecting public listings are normal uses of our proxies. Every customer agrees to our Acceptable Use Policy, so VantixProxy is not responsible for its users’ actions. Google’s own rules remain your responsibility.
Proxies for other data sources
Each source guards its data in its own way. Pick yours.
