Rotate or hold an IP from your scraper
One endpoint does both. Leave the session out and every request exits from a new IP. Add a session ID and the same IP is held for the lifetime you set. The example uses the Eternal Residential format.

Which proxy is best for web scraping?
For most sites, Budget Residential at volume or Eternal Residential if your usage is uneven. Use Datacenter proxies when the target does not block server IPs, and Premium Residential when it blocks everything else.
Should I use rotating or sticky sessions?
Rotate on every request when you crawl lists, search results or product pages. Use a sticky session, up to 60 minutes, when a job needs several steps on the same IP, such as logging in and then paging through results.
How much bandwidth does scraping use?
Multiply your average response size by the number of requests. As an example, one million pages at 200 KB each is about 200 GB. Skipping images, fonts and video in your scraper cuts that sharply.
Can I scrape from a specific country or city?
Yes. Our residential, mobile and datacenter proxies support country, region and city targeting, so you can collect the page a local visitor would see.
Does unused bandwidth expire?
Not on Eternal Residential. Monthly plans run in 30-day cycles; unused GB are not carried over.
