Should I use rotating or sticky sessions?
Rotate on every query when you run through a keyword list. Use a sticky session, up to 60 minutes, when you page through several results pages for the same query.
How much bandwidth does rank tracking use?
Multiply the size of a results page by the number of checks. As an example, 10,000 checks a day at 150 KB each is about 1.5 GB a day. Skipping images and scripts in your tool cuts that down.
