Other policies
The short version
- Collecting public data, SEO checks, ad verification, price monitoring and managing your own accounts are all fine.
- Illegal access, spam, fraud, DDoS, credential stuffing and attacks on critical infrastructure are not.
- You are responsible for your sub-users and for following the law where you and your targets are.
- VantixProxy is not responsible for our users’ actions. Every customer agrees to this policy before using the service.
- We do not inspect the content of your traffic. We act on verified abuse reports.
- Accounts are closed on verified abuse. The remaining balance is lost.
This summary is here to help. The full text below is what applies.
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to everyone who uses VantixProxy: account holders, their sub-users and anyone using their credentials or API keys. It covers every product and forms part of the Terms of Service.
2. What our proxies are for
Our network is built for lawful work, such as:
- collecting publicly available data and web scraping;
- SEO and SERP monitoring;
- ad verification and brand protection;
- price and stock monitoring;
- managing accounts you own or are authorised to run;
- testing how sites, apps and content behave in other locations;
- security research on systems you have permission to test.
3. What is not allowed
You may not use our network, or let anyone else use it through your account, for:
- Illegal access. Breaking into systems, accounts or data, exploiting vulnerabilities, or scanning networks you have no permission to test.
- Credential stuffing and account takeover. Testing stolen or guessed logins, brute-force attacks, or taking over accounts that are not yours.
- DDoS and overload. Any attempt to flood, slow down or take a service offline.
- Spam. Bulk unsolicited email or messages, and harvesting addresses to send them.
- Fraud. Payment fraud and carding, phishing, identity theft, fake clicks and impressions, fake engagement, and any scheme built to deceive people or platforms for gain.
- Malware. Distributing malware or ransomware, or running command-and-control for a botnet.
- Critical infrastructure. Anything targeting government, military, healthcare, energy, emergency or financial infrastructure.
- Child sexual abuse material. Zero tolerance. We close the account and report it to the authorities.
- Harassment. Threats, stalking, doxxing or intimidation of any person.
- Infringement and sanctions. Distributing pirated content, or using the service in breach of sanctions or export law.
- Abusing our service. Publishing your credentials, evading connection limits or billing, or attacking our own systems.
This list gives examples. Anything illegal where you are, or where your target is, is not allowed either.
4. Your responsibilities
- VantixProxy is not responsible for the actions of our users. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- Follow the law in your own country and in the country of the sites and services you connect to.
- Respect the terms of the sites and services you use. Compliance with them is your responsibility, not ours.
- Pace your requests so your work does not harm the sites you visit.
- Keep your credentials and API keys secret. You are responsible for everything your sub-users do.
5. How we enforce this policy
We do not inspect or log the content of your traffic. Enforcement is driven by the abuse reports we receive and by the account and payment signals described in the Verification Policy.
- We check every abuse report. While we do, we may suspend the account or the product involved.
- When a report is verified, the account is closed. The remaining balance is forfeited and no refund is due.
- We, or the network partners we work with, may block particular destinations or ports to protect the network.
- We respond to valid legal requests. Because we keep no logs of traffic content, what we can provide is limited to account and payment records.
6. Reporting abuse
If traffic from our network has been used against you, write to [email protected]. Include:
- the date, time and time zone;
- the IP address the traffic came from, and the target that was hit;
- logs, headers or anything else that shows what happened.
The more precise the report, the faster we can find the account behind it.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we tell you by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect.
