The short version
- No KYC, ever. We never ask for ID documents, selfies, proof of address or company papers.
- An email address is all you need to open an account and buy.
- Instead of checking who you are, we check payments for fraud and act on abuse reports.
- A manual review never asks for identity documents. At most we ask you to confirm the payment.
- If a payment cannot be cleared, we cancel the order and refund it. We do not ask for documents instead.
This summary is here to help. The full text below is what applies.
1. Our position: strictly no KYC
We do not verify the identity of our customers. At no point, for any product, order size or payment method, will we ask you for:
- a passport, identity card or driving licence;
- a selfie or a video call;
- proof of address or a utility bill;
- company registration papers or tax documents;
- a phone number for verification.
That holds for every product we sell. See no-KYC proxies for what you can buy with just an email address.
If someone claiming to be VantixProxy asks you for any of these, it is not us. Tell [email protected].
2. What you need to open an account
An email address you can receive mail at, and a password. That is all. Two-factor authentication is there if you want it, and we recommend it, but it is your choice.
3. What we check instead
No KYC does not mean no rules. We protect the network and honest customers in two ways that do not involve your identity:
- Payment checks. Card payments go through Stripe with 3-D Secure, and Stripe screens them for fraud. Crypto payments go through NOWPayments and are credited once the network confirms them.
- Abuse handling. We check every abuse report we receive and close accounts when a report is verified, as set out in the Acceptable Use Policy.
4. What triggers a manual review
Most orders are delivered automatically. A person looks at an order or account only when one of these happens:
- our payment processor flags a card payment as high risk;
- repeated failed card attempts, or several different cards tried on one account;
- an unusually large first order paid by card;
- a chargeback or payment dispute;
- an abuse report that names traffic from the account;
- signs that an account has been taken over, such as sign-ins that do not fit its history;
- new accounts that appear to be opened to get around a suspension.
5. What a manual review involves
While we look, the order or the account may be paused. We write to the email address on the account. We may ask you to:
- reply from that email address, to show the account is still yours;
- confirm details of the payment that only the payer would know, such as the amount and date, the last four digits of the card, or the transaction hash;
- tell us briefly what happened, if the review follows an abuse report.
We never ask for identity documents, not even during a review. The possible outcomes are:
- Cleared. The order is delivered, or the account is unpaused.
- Not cleared. We cancel the order and refund the payment to its original method. We do not ask for documents instead.
- Abuse verified. The account is closed under the Acceptable Use Policy, and the remaining balance is forfeited.
6. What this means for your privacy
Because we do not collect identity data, we cannot lose it, sell it or be made to hand it over. What we hold is limited to your email address, payment references and usage totals, and we keep no logs of the content of your traffic. The Privacy Policy has the detail.
7. If the law changes
This policy describes how we work today. If a law ever required us to identify customers, this page would say so before it applied to anyone. We will not introduce identity checks quietly.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we tell you by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect.
