Before you start
Three things to have ready.
Your proxy line
Copy the host, port, username and password from the generator in your dashboard. The examples use Eternal Residential: et.vantixproxy.com, port 1000.
A Wi-Fi network
The setting belongs to one Wi-Fi network. Mobile data does not use it.
A way to check

Step 1: Add the proxy to your Wi-Fi
Open the Wi-Fi network’s settings, choose a manual proxy, and turn on Authentication for the login. Targeting goes at the end of the password.

> Configure Proxy > Manual

Open Safari and go to What is my IP. It should show the proxy’s IP and country, not yours. To keep the same IP for an hour, add a session to the password.

Does the proxy work on mobile data?
No. The built-in setting covers Wi-Fi only. For mobile data, use an app that routes traffic through a proxy.
Can I use SOCKS5 on iPhone?
Not in the built-in settings, which take HTTP proxies. Use an app that supports SOCKS5, such as Telegram for its own traffic.
Why does Safari ask for the password again?
iOS can ask again after the network reconnects. Check the password in the Wi-Fi proxy settings, or whitelist your IP and turn Authentication off.
Do all apps use the proxy?
Most apps that use Apple’s networking do. Some connect directly and skip it.
How do I turn it off?
Settings > Wi-Fi > (i) next to the network > Configure Proxy > Off.
Which proxy is best on an iPhone?
